The main idea is less questions to customers, more information.
The system provides the most user-friendly interface, depending on what user has already identified:route or date. If the user knows the route, the main problem is the choice of dates: the site providing an interface 'Calendar', with the possibility to specify the dates of the route to further awareness of weather at the points of travel.In case the user knows only the date, he can use 'Maps', with the possibility of points of route assignment.Asking a route, user can set the name of city or the resort location, with the further showing of closest airports and cities.In addition, the system do not ask the user's preferred class, time and the airline.The system searches for all possible variations of flight and provides for the choice of convenient flight filter for the class of service, time and airport of departure/arrival, etc.
Outcome
As a result of the project development new web-site started up in August 2008.The quantity of web visitors, the sales, and the profit are constantly grow, and by the moment the level of sales is about 1’000’000 USD per month, the number of unique visitors is about 150’000 per month, which we consider as a very good result, taking into consideration that the web-site exists for 8 months only. We believe that the growth will continue, and the client will get the good profit thanks to mutual developments.
