We’re talking to Healthcare Professionals, more specifically Neurologists and MS Specialists, as we aim to unravel the mysteries of SPMS (Secondary Progressive MS), particularly educating HCPs on their understanding of Smoldering MS and the long challenging Blood Brain Barrier and disease activity. These are smart, analytical minds, searching for answers.

Working with illustrator Robert Hunter, we created a series of beguiling illustrations that were a dramatic departure from standard visuals of MRIs, neurons and brain pathways and distinct within a traditionally clinical space.

The illustrations brought the scientific story to life as a series of mystery novels, opening up an immersive world of intrigue, ready for exploration.

Utilising a unique colour pallet, we created an eerie mood, with visual depth, and culturally significant motifs, including the brain, the patient and the HCP; repositioned as the sleuth.

Each illustration strengthened the visual journey and was art directed to feel like frames of a film and animated with cinematic quality to pull HCPs into the unexplored world of smoldering MS.

We worked in 2D, remaining true to the sensitivities of mystery novels and the graphic language of book cover art, and with forensic detail, transformed our scientific story into a real page-turner.
