We didn’t have any dialogue in the film, so we searched for weeks to find characters with strong facial expressions.

The characters inside the theater, like the magician and the audience, should enhance the surreal feeling, that when you’re driving a car and a pedestrian suddenly steps into the road, it feels like the pedestrian appeared out of nowhere. So they’re all extraordinary, quirky characters.

The old lady and the driver were innocent victims of the situation, so we searched for likable characters.
