In Belgium we have a 'knowledge' as well as a 'behaviour' barrier when it comes to recycling broken electronic devices. Everybody knows they don't belong in garages, attics or cellars. But very few people actually know that they can bring their devices – smaller than 25 cm – to a nearby Recycle point.

Research has shown that focussing on responsibility, the environment or our planet will (sadly) have little impact on people's behaviour in this matter.

Making it look easy however could make a difference.
