We created and installed a closed circuit radio broadcasting system in the underground car park. We researched the most popular radio stations among shoppers and took advantage of RDS traffic system to put our message on the display as well as over the airwaves.
We reminded shoppers to make sure they locked their cars before encouraging them to visit the Beko store and detailing the LCD TVs we had on display.We reached consumers in an ad-free environment taking advantage of the fact that their radios wouldn’t work underground. It was a media first for Turkey.
Outcome
The radio broadcasts reached more than 70,000 consumers boosting footfall significantly. Sales rose by more than 100%. The closed loop radio is now being rolled out to other malls with Beko stores in Turkey.
