Execution

Greenpeace created a outdoor display using fish-shaped kites flown at a height of 10 metres above current sea levels, to demonstrate the height to which the oceans will rise to if we do nothing about climate change.A Bluetooth zone directed the public to a mobisite (website for mobile phones) that featured a dally news broadcast from the year 2100, to give people a glimpse of our future if we don’t act on climate change.Greenpeace volunteers answered questions and encouraged people to sign a petition to get South African President Jacob Zuma to attend the Copenhagen Conference in person.

The “Flying Fish” travelled the country a month before the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference, described as “our planet’s last chance”.
