At its heart this film is an editing idea. The task was to create one single narrative while seamlessly transitioning through 18 different sports and a reveal. The trick was to find parallel moments through seemingly totally different sports – whether that was through objects, body shapes or actions. The edit also needed to ensure we achieved a balance between energetic and exciting without becoming discombobulated.

In order to make sure we had the most effective moments we went through the process of creating a previs to refine every aspect before we shot anything. Carefully selected transitions were pre-planned but allowed enough space for magic to happen in the editing room.
