Execution

We created a video which victims could stop by using their finger to silence him, and which counted the seconds they took to do so.

Depending on the length of time they put up with it, the video would present them with different messages, but always positive: no matter how much you’ve put up with, the abuse can always be stopped.

Using the same finger, they could also save our number and our details in their contacts, or forward them to a friend to keep the chain going.

Outcome

In no time, our message found its way onto the mobiles of more than 17,000 women, of whom nearly 1% contacted the foundation to report their cases. And most importantly, we managed to convince them to stop being victims and to start being survivors.
