OVERVIEW

Background

Applying medicated topical gels is messy and so is avoided by many people who just prefer to take a pill instead. They don’t want the smell on their fingers or the medicine to work on their hands and don’t want the hassle of washing them before and after use.

Execution

In this film we unusually see people using just their hands to do messy jobs. We see someone painting the lines on a football pitch with just their hands, we see someone applying nail varnish with just their fingers and signing a business document, not with a pen, but by dipping their fingers directly in the ink. Unsurprisingly doing these jobs without the proper tools creates a lot of mess, a lot of messy hands and a lot of funny, ridiculous situations.

These vignettes show the ridiculousness of not using the proper tools to do a job and serve as the perfect introduction to Voltaren’s new No Mess cap which, for the first time, allows people to finally apply a gel directly on to their skin without using their hands and without making a mess.
