Audi Night Vision Assistant detects objects in the drivers path and makes them visible. Instead of doing a traditional print campaign that reaches our key market, we decided to take advantage of the interactivity of the mobile tablet platform.
Readers came upon our ad while paging through a digital magazine publication. They saw a dark road with no obstacles in front of them, only the horizon in the distance. They were then be encouraged to switch to Audi Night Vision. An object they thought was on the horizon turned out to be something right in front of them. This dramatized the necessity for Audi Night Vision Assistant on South African roads.
Outcome
This rich media idea generated interest in Night Vision Assist as well as other innovations across the Audi range. Telephonic Customer Enquiries about the technology increased by 14% resulting in more interest and purchase leads for Audi A8 models featuring the technology.
