Execution
Monsoons in a tropical country like India bring with them showers that lash and rage in fury accompanied by strong winds. A common occurrence every year in the streets of coastal cities like Mumbai is the sight of uprooted trees all over the city. We decided to ride piggyback on this spectacular occurrence and bring home the point about the incredible speed of Bajaj Fans by likening them to the fierce gusts of wind created by Mother Nature.
Outcome
Consumer recall of Bajaj fans was at an all time high this monsoon. A net sales increase of over 25% only confirmed the fact that while wind at its destructive best is an unwanted natural phenomenon, the possession a fan that could generate high speed was not an altogether unwanted possibility.
