Description

What better way to personify lingering fish odor than by showing, well, a lingering fish?

In this spot, we open on a modern American suburban home. Dad, mom, son, baby and house-cat all lounge together in the living room on a casual Sunday morning. Suddenly, a large Red Snapper fish swims into shot, moving from the kitchen area into the living room. It swims casually around the room, solidly invading the family’s space, much the way an odor would linger.

One by one, the family takes note of the offending guest. The baby watches it with curiosity…the son glances up from his Game Boy…Dad lowers his newspaper with a slight scowl. And mom wrinkles her nose as it glides past. Only the cat seems to relish its presence.

The fish continues to wander about the room as a voice over calmly states: “Don’t let lingering odors take over your home.” Then, as the baby covers his nose in disgust and cries out, we cut to a can of Febreze. A hand picks up the Febreze as the voice over concludes: “Febreze...it’s a breath of fresh air.
