Execution

To spread word of the festival we concentrated on television, graphic media and, of course, the internet. We got every school of visual arts, official institutes and specialized sites to support “Art in Video”.With such support it would now be possible to award the best work, and the “Art in Video” winner would: take part in the programming of the channel, win a $5000 award for his following project and the conversion to 35 mms of his work.

Outcome

More than 4000 people participated in “Art in Video”, 180 works were exhibited and 8000 videos were seen. The winner was Inti Rossenbach (France) who won the conversion of his film and therefore was able to take part in a European film festival. The visitors to the web were multiplied by four, the average time on site was now three times longer and the tv channel was established in the agenda of the main independent film festivals. The schools and sponsors took part and contributed to the $35000 award. We included them in a pre-roll ad per streaming.
