Description
We partnered with Dean Kamen, the prolific inventor and founder of FIRST, to create a campaign that highlights young people who are inspired and engaged in an exciting mentor-based program. The initiative focuses on science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire young adults to innovate and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
The goal of the program is to inspire students to be science and technology leaders. In 2016, at the 25th annual competition, over 3,128 teams competed, including 75,000 students and 19,000 mentors from 24 countries around the world.
The goal of the PSA is to share with heads of state and influencers to take the program globally. To date, over 1 million young people have competed at FIRST.
