OVERVIEW

Description

A simple white shirt is shown as a unique symbol of the New Basic (a new direction in style).

We have described the birth of the New Basic style in shirts, being crafted by SANYO ESSENTIALS, as a simple white shirt starting out on the new journey to its owner.

The exquisitely crafted, yet simple white shirt is shown taking off from the atelier and flying off into the sky in a unique way.

It comes all the way across the oceans, into the town and finally to the person who will wear it.

Execution

We have suspended the simple, yet elegant white shirt as a symbol of the SANYO ESSENTIALS Basic style from an amazing drone, and actually made it fly into different parts of Japan.

The simple white shirt, as if given a life of its own, takes off from the atelier and flies off into the sky. It comes all the way across the oceans, into the town and finally right into the hands of to the person who will wear it.

We have made the movie, featuring not just the drone delivery, but communicating the comfort offered by the brand.

Outcome

Following the uploading of the online movie, the average hits, time per view and interaction with the SANYO ESSENTIALS website increased dramatically.

The access to the online store of Sanyo increased 357% after the launch of the online movie.

The communication made clear to the viewers that SANYO ESSENTIALS was an accessible brand, that didn’t have to be tried on at a retail outlet, but could in fact be delivered to the buyer in a unique way.

Post buyer polling indicated a favorable reaction to the communication and the SANYO ESSENTIALS brand continues to increase its brand equity.
