Idea

How can Fujitsu teams overcome the challenges of the pandemic era?

Not by using digital platforms as a substitute for real-life sessions, but by transforming the digital space into a native environment for successful dialogue in a B to B context.

The Fujitsu CX Lab (Customer Experience Lab) is a new virtual metaverse space designed to help customers and partners get started with digital transformation through co-creation. A platform bringing together physical and virtual worlds to facilitate the entry into a creative dialogue. It enables impressive virtual experiences in a cybernetic city with many industry-specific solutions and scenarios – creating a unique co-creation space precisely tailored to customer needs.

The concept has two dimensions. First, it leverages the new digital shift culture of virtual engagement that enables ecosystems to cross-fertilize ideas more easily and more quickly. Second, it acknowledges that people respond more creatively when in new, stimulating environments.

Execution

As a virtual meeting place, Fujitsu CX Lab offers customized dialogue sessions on demand to partners and customers. Unique experiences convey industry-specific solutions and their benefits.

CX Lab is based on a mock-up of a generic city with virtual buildings, streets, bridges and networks. For the event character of the digital meeting, invitations and snacks are sent out in advance. Visitors start their experience in the lounge and are guided through the possibilities and applications of Fujitsu in a first-person perspective and dialogue. At the same time, there is always the opportunity to enter into more in-depth stories and focal points. Small twinkle-in-the-eye effects create a relaxed atmosphere.

Through this inspiring environment, Fujitsu promotes the creativity of its employees as well as networking and makes the first step of its customers and partners into the digital transformation easier than ever.

The city was designed according to the new Fujitsu CI– adding bold and energizing colors to a slightly abstracted city architecture consisting of different buildings and areas in the city which are the playground for different case stories covering different fields of business from finance to manufacturing.

The ideation space situated on the top floor in the virtual FUJITSU/INTEL headquarter tower is the venue for the customized co-creation dialogues.

The pilot sessions started in November 2021 with 3 highly relevant topics from the Fujitsu portfolio

• HYBRID CLOUD: - discover the right cloud for the right workload.

• DATA-DRIVEN TRANSFORMATION: Your superfluid data experience.

• GET READY FOR YOUR S/4 HANA TRANSFORMATION

In February 2022 a 4th story was added:

• EXPERIENCE THE FUTURE WORKPLACE NOW

The city structure is designed to also enable the roll-out of future cases. In the next few months a special eco-system story will be added as well as an extension of the workplace story.
