The Olympic Games are an inspiring celebration of what’s possible, and Comcast works hard to bring the inspiration of the Games to homes across the country.

Unfortunately, the stories of what’s possible at the Winter Olympics have historically lacked representation. ‘Generations’ shows us the impact of seeing greatness from someone who looks like you, and how it can change your own tomorrow.

The film begins with Vonetta Flowers who, in 2002, became the first Black athlete to win Gold at the Winter Games. A teenaged Elana Meyers Taylor watched from home and, seeing herself in Vonetta, was inspired to pursue her own Olympic dreams.

With one true and simple story we’re reminded both of the power of representation, and of the impact that one person can continue to have across generations. Because “it only takes one person to change what’s possible” for the Team of Tomorrow.
