Germany is a country that’s crazy about cars.So how do you increase loyalty among users of German Rail’s car transport train?
Execution
Those who chose German Rail’s car transport train for their holiday travel were sent a mailing with a red box containing the “Monster Congestion Top Trumps” card game along with a friendly letter. The game was a most engaging and entertaining way for our travellers (mostly families) to learn that the best way to travel by car is when you’re on a train.
Outcome
Despite the fact that this mailing was designed purely to support customer retention and contained no way of response, more than 5% of our recipients took action and expressed their thanks by phone or email.
