Description
Ben & Jerry’s, a socially-conscious ice cream brand had this proposal to make to the students of the world: Climate Change College (CCC, an action aimed at convincing university students that more can be done to combat global warming). Our job was to communicate this initiative to them and attract them to the website.
Execution
Communication for the CCC was done at universities and B&J outlets under the concept “If you’re heated up, do something”, which encouraged the public to propose alternatives for countering climate change on the site. The “star” of the campaign was a flyer-fan offering the first alternative: fan the ground to cool off the planet, or go to the website to present other options.
In addition to this, take-one’s, posters, stickers for hand-driers, badges, informational leaflets were created, as well as web videos to add a viral dimension to the action.
Outcome
The Spanish C.C.C web obtained more than 50,000 contacts. Haven't you noticed lately that temperatures are going down?
