Description
For Götte, a well-known optician in Zurich, Switzerland, we looked for new possibilities in mobile advertising.We integrated a special advertisment within the iPhone-App for the newspaper “Tages-Anzeiger”. By clicking on the “A+” to scale the font size up, readers got the message: “Besser sehen. Mit Götte Optik.” which means roughly: “See better. Come to Götte Opticians.”
Execution
To show how special this offer is, we took paper and scissors, and started cutting our paper sculptures. Then we placed the sculptures in Götte shops and shop windows throughout Switzerland.
Outcome
The in-store installations increased traffic to goetteoptik.ch 9-fold, and Götte shops experienced 4x more visits during that period. The sculptures were very popular and discussed on various blogs and magazines.
