Description
Did you ever hear a car sing? Belgian Electro Rock Group Goose latest track features a very special guest: The Audi R8 Coupé V10 Plus. There are enough videos of cars driving in the mountains or round a race track. So, why repeat that? Instead, we put the car on a podium. Just like a rock band. The track and the videoclip is a crossing between a live performance and an art installation where the band and the car challenge each other and ultimately create a complex interplay.
Execution
We’ve put the band Goose and The Audi R8 Coupé V10 Plus face to face in an insulated environment. The result is between a performance and an art installation each side challenging the other to create a beautiful sound. What starts as somekind of fight of 2 opposites that blend smoothly in to one song where the car becomes the 5th band member. The gas pedal was pressed or released to the rhythm of the track. This way raw revolutions per minute were transformed into electronic beats per minute. The recording session took place ‘live’ on the spot. The result was recorded straight to vinyl…
Outcome
The campaign not only delivered a fab tune that was streamed thousand times on Spotify. It caused a solid wave of earned media, including influencer reach, traditional print and radio media coverage and many more sites and blogs.
