Description

Hands of Change is a movement of expression that aims to raise awareness about the gender inequality in the workplace using an innovative canvas that catch the attention between men and women to open the conversation: socially conscious nail arts.

We advocate for 3 causes, with an icon for each one: *Equal pay and opportunities. *Female empowerment and leadership. *More women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

?Why the hands? Because they are the symbol of work, with them we create, transform and materialize our effort. And this time we turned them into a means of communication; a protest sign in your nails to give a relevant message wherever you go.

Execution

The campaign was launched with a video previous to women’s day, where Opinion leaders invited men and women to be part of the movement using the socially conscious icons in their hands.

We also had a website and Instagram account with all the information you need to join the conversation, and a downloadable toolkit where everyone can be an activist from their own platforms and be informed by the issues, with exclusive designs from one of the artist ambassador.

With nail artist influencers and social networks from Vogue Cosmetics we spread the message to the beauty community inviting all the people, man and women to be part of Hands Of Change. With a PR strategy with journalist, TV host, women leaders and several organization we had presence in sustainability media, specialized press, TV programs and live events with no budget invested.

Outcome

More than 1.9 MM people reached on Twitter and Instagram, generating 2.2 MM impressions.

+ Hundreds of people joined HT #ManosDeCambio through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

+ 3 MM views in social networks.
