Description
The client renamed [Gas Charging] Station in to [Health Charging] Station.
Taxi drivers visit gas stations at least once a day. While they stop only for a brief moment, we decided to create a place for exhausted drivers where they can recharge their stamina and breath some fresh air for 5 to 10 minutes in an efficient and effective way. All in all, the plan was to allow drivers restore energy during work time, instead of making their own spare time to work out.
Execution
The Health Charging Box was installed at LPG charging stations where taxi drivers frequently. It is designed to resemble a battery icon to show where the charger is for the drivers. In addition, the Box where drivers work out are surrounded by transparent glass walls to encourage their peers to exercise as well.
Designed with a size of a small bus, Health Charging Box is equipped with a medical examination program called VIVENTE, along with basic sports equipment efficiently placed inside the small but roomy space.
Here, drivers undergo the following 3 steps in a quick and effective manner; 1. Health check, 2. Smart stretching, and 3. Smart fitness. What's more drivers can record their health status on their own health cards, which the professional trainers can review and give tips on their exercises and health management.
Outcome
The client signed MOU with gas & sports foundations, and installed Health Charging Box at LPG stations for easy access open to taxi drivers.
It was designed in a battery shape to depict a health restoring function for drivers. In addition, a small gym was covered in glasses to encourage other drivers to work-out together.
Inside the Box, drivers are welcomed with the compact health charging services which provides VIVENTE, medical examination program, and basic sports equipment.
Drivers undergo three steps; 1. Health check, 2. Smart stretching, 3. Smart fitness in a brief and efficient way. Also, drivers can report their health status on their personal health cards, and a travelling professional trainer will train them to build a more healthier work environment.
