Background
In Dutch, "zwaar" is synonym to "heavy" in the depressed, sad, heavy-hearted sense of the word.
Execution
In january 2019, Lidl launched its yearly “XXL promotional weeks”. A week where customers get more for the same money.
As a side effect, things can get quite heavy. That’s why the radio commercials announce the promotion in an extremely heavy way.
