Background
From 2001, Wacoal holds "Tsubomi School" CSR initiative for adolescent girls and their parents. It is to let them have a better understandings on physical growth, and how to select bras that are most suitable for their changing bodies. Through the 15 years, Wacoal met over 100,000 adolescent girls who bottled up their worries, unable to confide in anyone. Also, their mothers with dilemma who wanted to be the help of their daughters but found it difficult to approach with these sensitive topics. We wanted to be their help.
Description
In the midst of changing moods and bodies, girls on the brink of becoming adults are burdened with worries that they can’t even tell their mothers. But in those situations, we became to realize that there was one existence that adolescent girls confide their true feelings to. A stuffed animal that was always right by their side from childhood. We decided to benefit from the cherished stuffed animal, broke the invisible walls between the girl and her mother, and challenged to have the girls true feelings revealed through it.
Execution
Launched a web movie via YouTube on 14th March 2016. Achieved more than 2,800,000 views within a month.
