A fmily come together in one room, however the room is split into two. One is a warm homely looking room with a mother and son - the other is a grey office with a man. Between the rooms is a glass which separates them. The man presents a shirt as a gift for his sons birthday, which is places on the glass for fitting. They then pull two half tables and half birthday cakes together at the glass. Afterwards, the couple admit they miss each other and kiss the glass. The man pulls back and he is kissing the video phone.

There is big difference between urban cities and country towns in Taiwan. Young people go to Taipei to work. Due to the incovenience of transportation, it's not easy for young people to go home and visit parents often.
