Professionally trained dogs and cats are difficult enough to find when looking for those who are fit and healthy. Finding animals that are overweight—and still engaging—is even more challenging. We searched far and wide across Europe to find a lovable cast of characters that perfectly communicates the issue of weight gain while also immediately gaining empathy with the audience.
