Background
The public welfare competition was jointly created by Qingshan District Government, OCT Brand and Hubei Academy of Fine Arts,which is an urban phenomenological competition.The target audience is mostly young artists, professional design organizations and social individuals in Wuhan.
Idea
The theme of the competition is to design the "Xi" architectural form in the aerial view of the whole project."Xi" is not only the image IP of the project, but also the creative IP of the competition, to create the maximum communication effect for the brand image and convey the idea of the project's new life in the old city.
Execution
It deeply deconstructs and integrates the architectural modeling of industrial red houses in Qingshan, Wuhan, the pinyin of "Hongfang", and the modeling of "Xi" character with a bird's eye view of the plot, forming new visual creative ideas of different horizontal and vertical, and directly conveying the theme of the competition through plane creativity. At the same time, based on the new design concept of the old city, we solicit ideas of creative design from the public.
Outcome
The competition will spread and publicize the brand through various channels such as network media, government websites and on-site works exhibition.At the same time, the project's concept of revitalization of the old city is conveyed, showing that the building is not only used for living and use, but more of a humanistic design concept.With the help of a design competition, the humanistic feelings of the project can be exported to the society, which is of great significance in consolidating and enhancing the value of the brand, increasing the degree of exposure, and expanding the scale of the intended customer group.
