Description
A mother places her little boy io a white sofa. He looks curiously at her. She hands him a big red speed marker with the cap off and leaves him to himself. He looks at her in disbelief.Super: New IKEA catalogue in store nowIKEA LOGO
Execution
We developed two gigantic billboards centrally located in London where we placed life-like mannequins on top looking in the direction of the IKEA store in Edmonton. The text on the billboards read "I can nearly see it from up here."
Outcome
The billboards created a tidal wave of free publicity, and articles about them were featured in more that 25 newspapers TV stations in London and the UK. Apparently, the mannequins were so life-like that almost 100 people called the police to report they had seen a person on top of a billboard.
