It is a meta film working on more levels. It is the story about a father, who finds out that his teenage daughter has been streaming films illegally and he must talk to her about it. At the same time, it is the story about a film crew, who is trying to tell the audience, that illegal streaming has consequences, however, they cannot seem to find a proppor genre. The film starts as a thriller where the father runs into he’s teenage daughter’s room, he is panicking and asks her to destroy the computer and collect her passport because the police is after them. This is exaggerated and a more humoristic genre is tried, however, this is not working either and lastly a dramatic genre is tried. As time goes the director and the actor become more and more frustrated.
