Description

Right in time for the start of the Formula 1 season, this project is showing a Grand-Prix-Quiz. The player drives onto the track with his own Bayern 3 Formula 1 race car and must demonstrate his skill and knowledge about motor racing over 5 rounds. On the racetrack the driver encounters numerous questions, for which there are three possible answers. Correct answers are rewarded with a better race position, wrong ones cause the engine to explode. Instead of a pit stop, keyboards which appear on the track have to be driven over and these renew the gas supply of the Formula 1 racer. Flying tires, opponents who try to push the driver off the track, oil patches and slipstream battles make it more difficult for the driver to reach the finishing line and to achieve release of the numerical code which is necessary for participation in the price draw. The Bayern 3 Grand Prix aims at securing high visitor numbers to the website from the beginning. The young people's station of the Bayerischer Rundfunk signals its expertise with regard to on-air and on-line content and, with this technically complex application, enhances its image as a supplier of high-end content on the Internet.
