Description
During the summer, internet connection sales fall off, because people tend to spend more time outside instead of remaining in front of the computer. So the company struck back with an irresistible offer that had to be communicated to people who remained in the city, as well as those who went to the beach on holiday.
Execution
We made a very cheap mailing with double functionality: mailing to houses (DM) and sampling at beaches (Promo).The offer: U$S10 (half the usual price) was so brilliant that it dazzled the customers. Using the mailing as a sun reflector, people could get their sunshine and their suntans even while connected to Internet.
Outcome
- A 12% increase in sales over the past 3 summers.- 50,000 mailings produced 6200 sales (12.4%, an extraordinarily high response).- 6200 new clients deeply suntanned.
