Established in 1998, HepsiBurada is Turkey's largest e-Commerce website with 13 million monthly visitors. As the name of the website entails –everything is here- the site contains over 360,000 products in 35 different categories. Over 20,000 products are sold on the website on a daily basis. It can be referred as the Turkish Amazon.com eCommerce is a relatively new sector in Turkey and it is mostly used by the 25-34 age group, followed by 18-24 and 35-44 age groups. Although eCommerce is relatively new, it has been a highly competitive platform. After the expansion of its biggest competitor GittiGidiyor’s mobile launch, HepsiBurada expand rapidly to other platforms in order to maintain its market share, preserve its current customers and reach new ones.
HepsiBurada iPhone app, designed and developed by us, hit #1 in the App Store with almost 40,000 downloads over its first weekend and still is one of the most downloaded apps in the Turkish app market. Company announced the launch of the mobile app at their website, Facebook page, and twitter account. Not long after, the record downloads were on Turkish newspapers as well.
Elegant and fast, HepsiBurada Mobile was quickly adapted by online shoppers. All the functions of the website are enabled on the mobile application with the addition of a barcode reader. This unique feature makes comparison shopping easier and faster for frugal users. Focused on easy navigation, the application is designed in a way that users can go to product or campaign page simply by tapping on the banner, making campaigns and popular products more visible.
Integrated with social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter, HepsiBurada app enables shoppers to share the good deals with others right away. It's also extremely easy to read user reviews and contact the company if needed. Having reached almost 100.000 users in the first month of its launch, Hepsi Burada iPhone application proved to be a good marketing move for the company. Now the company is getting ready to launch Android and iPad versions within the next two months.
