We see a mother who has just given birth to her child putting a Kaala Teeka (a black dot-good omen) on her forehead to cast away all evils, an age old Indian superstition. we see another family where a grandmother also follows the Kaala Teeka (black dot) ritual as she is worried about her granddaughter who is leaving for another city. Voice over explains that Kaala Teeka (black dot, good omen) is believed to cast away evil, puts hearts at peace but when it crosses all limits and becomes someone's life then it questions the entire society that follows this superstition. A character from our show, Vishwaveer is shown doing a prayer holding an infant girl in front of his daughter who is comfortably placed in a cushioned cradle. He announces that this girl will stay with his daughter and serve as her Kaala Teeka (good omen) all her life.
