OVERVIEW

Description

Kerala is known as ‘God’s own country’.The film tries to capture an inexplicable experience through the eyes of a female protagonist’s spiritual and mystic journey. Her encounters are all ‘moments’ where her inner self is moved. Therefore the thought – ‘Your moment is waiting’, is for prospective travelers seeking something unique and life altering.Ayurveda is a practice using natural remedies for all kinds of ailments.Kathakali is a dance form using detailed facial gestures and extraordinary makeup and costumes. In our film however the performer is seen practicing. The Theyyam artist in the film is bedecked in traditional costume and make up, and is seen whispering something into the protagonist’s ear.The trance is called ‘mudiattam’ which is done by tribal women with their uncombed locks of hair moving rhythmically in waves to traditional percussion.

The woman prostrating in reverence in front of the elephant is a moment of purity as the size of the human form is miniscule compared to the grandeur of this mighty being. This film goes beyond the realm of a regular tourism film capturing the experience rather than just the scenic beauty, aiming at communicating how we can transcend beyond the basic sensorial.
