But when it first launched, no one knew what made it unique: the caffeine kick that helps you fight sleep.

So, drawing on the brand’s Mexican-inspired logo, we created an epic animated backstory to bring the product to life: The Tale of ZANG, the man behind the chocolate - a hero whose sole purpose is to fight Sleep.

Told across 3 episodes, the story always end on a cliff-hanger to do exactly what the chocolate does: keep you up at night.

In this first episode we meet Reina Caffeine and El Chocko, characters who bring the best qualities of caffeine and chocolate to life. They fall in love and conceive a baby called ZANG.

But their joy will not last long as a bitter, sleepy evil approaches from the shadows.
