Description

At the very beginning we felt it was necessary to highlight the original setting of the game in an effort to differentiate it from the multitude of competitive gangster titles. The use of language, specifically Cockney rhyming slang, was a good way to do this, as it is unique to the game’s main character, London itself. This became the primary message in the online units, "Learn to speak Getaway, your life depends on it!" The whole experience bombards you with words and phrases that you don’t understand, exciting the user’s curiosity and acting as a call to action to Learn to Speak Getaway. Know what I mean, Geezer?
