150 media stories, 30 interactions on social media, and 50 million impressions on the launch of the museum.

Community:

Reach at least 2,000 students in rural China in the inaugural year of the Future Sci-Tech

Idea

1.The Future Sci-Tech Museum – An immersive showcase of Lenovo’s Technology Leadership

o Inspired by the concept of ‘See Beyond, Be Beyond, Lenovo’s Future Sci-Tech Museum consists of six interactive zones that fully integrate its cutting-edge products and solutions. Open to students for free, the museum will continue to upgrade its technology and showcase the latest research and development achievements by Lenovo, thereby helping them stay updated on the most recent advancements.

2. An integrated campaign that sparks conversations on the ‘Role of Immersive Technology in Rural China’ among key media and influencers with two objectives:

o Demonstrate how Lenovo has gone beyond conventional ways to help students gain more interest and a better understanding of the ever-evolving technology landscape.

o Generate greater impact and reach by discussing a topic relevant to many

Strategy

Curiosity is inherent in human nature and plays a crucial role in children's future development. Therefore, seizing the opportunity of building "The Future Sci-Tech Museum", Lenovo Group has jointly launched the " Curiosity Mindset Project" with Guang Ming Daily. The goal is to inspire rural children's curiosity and maintain their desire to explore technology and knowledge.

Adhering to the core concept of "Expand Your View, Change the World Anew", "The Future Sci-Tech Museum" was finally established at the Central Elementary School in Heshi Town, Jiangxi Province. As the first AI-enabled Rural Primary School Sci-Tech Museum in China, "The Future Sci-Tech Museum" combines Lenovo's intelligent interactive solutions and equipment, and by showcasing technologies such as AI and computing power that occupy the most crucial positions in the new computing era, "The Future Sci-Tech Museum" will open a door for rural children to access the forefront of the times.

Execution

1. The ‘Curiosity Mindset Project’ with Guang Ming Daily, a key media outlet in China with a daily circulation of over 1 million.

As part of the project, Guang Ming Daily promoted content on how technology encourages curiosity in students via ads, review posts, and short videos on their social media.

2. Fireside chat on ‘The Curiosity Mindset’ with top-tier influencers

In the lead-up to the launch, Lenovo invited three celebrities for a fireside chat on how immersive technology helps forge a curiosity mindset. The discussion was captured in a video promoted across earned and owned social platforms and shared with mainstream media to ignite interest and resonance among the youth.

3. Personalized content formats with micro-influencers

After the launch of the museum, Lenovo invited 20 TikTok and WeChat influencers to capture the immersive experience on-site and highlight how these experiences will help build a curiosity mindset among students.

Outcome

Media:

1. The campaign achieved a total of 100 million online impressions and 120,000 interactions across Weibo, WeChat, and TikTok.

2. Videos co-created with influencers went viral on TikTok and WeChat generating a combined 13.25 million plays and 1.01 million likes.

3. More than 30 core Chinese media outlets covered the news with over 330 releases, positioning Lenovo as a leading technology company that is committed to its vision of providing ‘Smarter Technology for All’.

Community

1. In just four months, the Museum has had over 3,000 visitors from Jiangxi Province.

2. Riding on this success, Lenovo aims to reach 120,000 more students in rural China by 2025.
