Description
If adults were going to continue to standby and do nothing, we decided to put the burden of solving climate change on those who would ultimately be left with the mess: our children.
Show kids trying to figure it out to wake adults up to climate change and get them to take it more seriously.
Execution
A one-day event with over 200 hundred children were brought into the Ontario Science Center to hear world-renown environmentalist Dr. David Suzuki, speak.
Instead of making a presentation he dropped an eye-opening challenge: Adults weren’t doing enough about climate change. So it’s up to you to solve it.
What followed were multiple “workshops” that exposed kids to all the realities and facts that had not taken seriously by adults. Coming out of each experience, we’d ask the kids for solutions to help.
When it was over, there was over 500 different ideas, stories, photos and essays that were then curated and used to create an integrated campaign across every traditional and digital media platform available.
Outcome
