The partnership between Lexus and Hyde Park Corner was as perfectly complimentary as strawberries and cream. Lexus immediately recognized the shopping centre as the perfect location to speak to its affluent target audience, and Hyde Park Corner saw the benefit of the association with a luxury motoring brand like Lexus. The disruptive nature of the execution was the perfect solution to shake the well-heeled shoppers out of their personal screen and retail therapy bubbles.
Outcome
The Lexus Pedestrian billboard caused quite a stir when it was activated. From the morning shoppers to the patrons of the trendy Hyde Park Hotel bar in the evening, everyone who was caught by the billboard- or saw it in action- stopped and had a second look at the brand new Lexus NX.
