Description

The focus of this hit television drama is the police’s own internal investigation unit.

We wanted the Creative Idea for the promo to be rooted firmly in this:

The police who police the police.

By exploiting the medium of radio we brought the cop versus cop concept to life by using elements of sound intrinsically linked with how our law enforcement teams operate.

We developed a simple idea based around the use of police radios and the NATO phonetic alphabet to literally spell out a clear message to the listener.

We hear chatter on the police radio system and a voice say Bravo Echo November Tango.

The phrase is repeated three times to ensure that the listener has time to process and spell out the word for themselves. B.E.N.T. Bent.

We wanted to make people have to actively listen – and then to be rewarded with the payoff.
