Description

Today, 400 children will die from tuberculosis. One every 4 minutes. In fact, in 2015, tuberculosis was declared the deadliest infectious disease on earth, surpassing HIV/AIDS. One million kids develop TB each year, and far too many are silenced forever: TB claims 140,000 children every year.

Yet the silence around the global tuberculosis epidemic can be deafening.

So we were determined to give kids something they never had before: A voice. Our short film was designed to raise the volume about TB by tapping the power of exactly the opposite – silence. And thus giving the true power to the children themselves.

Individually, our voices might not count for much. But when we speak out together, the world itself can be changed. That’s what #LouderThanTB is all about—individuals and health advocacy organizations raising their voices to silence TB once and for all.
