Description

In a world in which experiences mean more to people than physical possessions, but we are so overwhelmed by information, that it’s harder than ever to keep track of all meaningful experiences we shouldn’t be missing out on…

In a world in which people are expecting brands to demonstrate their brand promises, not just talk the talk…

“Louis” is a proactive, personalized and seamless voice-based solution, that makes sure you never miss out on anything that matters to you, while also representing the literal embodiment of the brand promise of “Find New Roads”.

Execution

The main differentiator for Louis is its proactive nature (which allows it to make recommendations at a rate of interaction that you can personalize).

Louis predicts what you shouldn't be missing out on and then proactively makes recommendations

at exactly the right time. If your favorite band releases tickets for a concert near your home (which Louis knows from your Spotify preferences), Louis will immediately offer to purchase them as they are released. If there’s a new foodie spot, Louis will immediately offer to make a reservation. If you’re traveling, Louis will still suggest the craft brewery you cannot miss. Everything based on your personalized profile and activity.

Using data from your most-used and most-trusted apps, Louis creates a unique user profile. Aggregating data through the API’s, Louis learns your social and consumer habits, synthesizing the data with real world behaviors, in order to predict recommendations that are tailored to the user, expanding daily choices and seamlessly connecting your life.

Incubated at Grand Central Tech, to be a seamless car-home-life mobility utility – so that Louis can do for you, what you would do for you, if you had time to do it.

Outcome

Louis is expected to become Chevrolet's differentiator in the automotive game.

Currently in its prototype phase, the app was used and tested by a small group of early testers (including clients) with above expectations feedback: “it’s unbelievable how quickly Louis gets to know me” or “each recommendation feels like a piece of magic” are some of the most frequent comments.

Based on the overall feedback and business goals, we have identified several key areas to bring Louis from prototype to internal Beta:

1. Additional API integrations for a higher and faster accuracy in determining your unique profile and customized reccos: Facebook, OpenTable, Lyft, Instagram, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Weather, Calendar

2. “Ask Louis”/ on demand recommendations: the feature will allow users to prompt Louis to provide a recommendations on demand, giving users the ability to receive recommendations from Louis outside of Louis established notification schedule.
