Topper is the official sponsor and supplier for Gremio, one of the most passionate football teams in Brazil. And while every other sports brand is targeting athletic performance, we want to enhance the fans performance. So we created The Love Meter Jersey, a special edition of Gremio's jersey, that measures the heartbeat of the cheering fan during the game. It pairs with a smartphone and sends the data to create a ranking, and the fans with more heartbeats during the game, the most passionate, are awarded with tickets for the next match, and other club-related products.
Execution
Through this effort, Topper was able to measure and reward the most important aspect of football: the fans' love for their team.
Outcome
The jersey was a success. And Topper is recognized as more than just a sportswear supplier for the team, but as a partner that understands the love that Gremio's fans feel for the club.
