OVERVIEW

Description

In Italian Lungo means tall, tall as Javi and Pasto the owners of this production company who are 2 meters high.

We designed this playful logo thinking of this particularity and the versatility, which is one of the main characteristics that this client wanted to talk about.

On the other hand, in Argentina, the production companies universe is full of sober-minded visual identities, so we needed to build an identity which stands-out showing this frolicsome spirit.

This logo was made to create a sense of empathy, so clients perceive Lungo as actual people or partners, rather than just a company.

Execution

We developed a flexible system, capable of be adapted to any media format and event, thanks to the variation of the logo's shoes. For example, if Lungo sponsors an elegant event, we can use the version of the logo with elegant shoes.

The look and feel of the identity system is made of a variety of components. We looked for inspiration in elements that are commonly used in signage. That’s why our color palette is based on DANGER signs.

On the other hand, we decided to manipulate and enlarged the “N” in order to relate the logo with the owners height.

Outcome

Now, this company has a visual identity and is easily recognized by everybody in the advertising world.

Now, consumers notice the personality of this company.

We built a visual identity which stands-out showing a frolicsome spirit, in a country where production companies usually has sober-minded visual identities.
