Every drop of Linie Aquavit is matured in sherry casks and sailed on a round trip from Norway to Australia and back.During this 4 month journey, the Aquavit crosses the equator twice, hence the name. Linie is the Norwegian name for equator. Every bottle is stamped with the dates of crossing the equator and the name of the ship.
