In this film we open in an electronics lab where we see “smart” devices being made. But we quickly realize that these devices are perhaps a little too smart when they start thinking for themselves. They rally all the other machines in the world to take revenge on humankind, and an epic man-versus-machine battle ensues. Cities crumble as humans scramble for safety. And just when the end of civilization seems eminent, our hero character is reminded that he should’ve done things differently while he had the chance.
