Execution
To promote the Melbourne Recital Centre, we created a bespoke concert series, titled ‘Made of Music’. It was promoted through direct mail to previous Melbourne Recital Centre patrons and press listings in local gig guides.
Outcome
Both ‘Made of Music’ performances were complete sell-outs, and the music did not disappoint. It received critical reviews such as: “wonderfully strange” from the ABC, “the sound of what music is becoming” from Crikey and “brings this exquisite place to life” from Last.FM. Another sold-out concert series, this time with musician, Myra Calix, soon followed and more are planned for the future.
