This film was designed to make the concept of physical distancing feel more relatable, accessible and actionable in communities around the world. The visual story that unfolds for the viewer depicts the nuances of social distancing in different locations, highlighting our similarities, differences, and connections across continents and cultures. To emphasize these themes and complement the animated story, Rae Morris kindly gave permission for the use of her track, "Someone Out There," licensed through Universal Music Publishing Group. Both the lyrics themselves as well as the tone and tempo shifts throughout the song were leveraged to reflect not only the gravity of the situation the world was facing in 2020, but also the essential messages of hope, love and community that people needed to hear in that moment.
