MAKE UP FOR EVER sets the stage for iconic superstar Jessie J’s transformations. With the launch of this artistic collaboration, chameleon artist Jessie J transforms Frankie Valli’s iconic “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” into a hypnotic modern anthem. MAKE UP FOR EVER provided Jessie J with the creative freedom and endless make up options for her constant reimagined looks throughout the new song’s edgy music video. MAKE UP FOR EVER is also visually integrated throughout via the overall look and feel (red, lights, styling, ARTIST neon lights and Jessie’s pose) that puts the brand subtly but decisively front and centre.
Execution
MAKE UP FOR EVER produced an official music video shot by avant-garde British photographer Rankin, showcasing the different sides of Jessie J (One look = one product) and launched on December 2nd 2016 in sync with the partnership’s official announcement to the world.
The official single cover features Jessie’s favourite look from the music video as well as the brand name and logo. The track is synced on all MAKE UP FOR EVER campaign materials and the music video is used by the brand to produce all of their ARTIST franchise campaign materials in 2017.
Additionally, there is a global campaign in more than 2,000 MAKE UP FOR EVER owned stores and corners.
